Questions and answers about the services at Philosophy Coach

My main programmes are set up as recurring monthly subscriptions. This is so that they can be more easily tailored to your individual requirements.

When you join, simply choose your intensity level - from Bronze at 1 session per month, through to Gold which is 3 sessions each month.

So, for example, if you would like a short intense block of 3 sessions, choose the Gold plan, and then cancel before the end of the first month. But if you would like longer-term support, you can choose the Bronze plan, and keep access to 1-1 support for as long as you need it.

In our first session, we will discuss your personal objectives, plus how many sessions you would like to have, and we will plan accordingly. So don't worry, you will not be expected to stay subscribed indefinitely.

Please note that there is a minimum requirement of 3 sessions for this programme, so if you cancel before this time, you will be billed for these 3 initial consultations.

However, following your initial period, you can cancel your plan at any time from within your own account, and your access will stop at the end of your current billing cycle.

I have a limited number of 1-1 appointments, and usually organise all my consultations on weekday mornings. I also offer email sessions which can fit more easily around your work, family, and other commitments.

However, if you are keen to book a 1-1 consultation and it doesn't work with your diary, please contact me by email and I will let you know if I have any flexibility with appointment times.

My current availability for consultations is:
Video calls - Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings
Email sessions - Tuesday and Thursday afternoons

My consultations are all centred around exploring the mind-body connection, although we can do this from several different perspectives.  The main ones that I focus on are:

1. Individual - How your mind, emotions, and habits impact your wellbeing.
This personal perspective explores the relationship between stress, fatigue, and illness. You can gain insights into how to get more control over your own health and immunity by reducing your levels of mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual stress. Plus how you can reduce much deeper causes of stress by understanding life on an existential level.

2. Therapeutic - How to use therapies to release stress from the mind and body.
This perspective explores how we use therapies in restoring health and wellbeing.  You can also explore some of the less commonly discussed aspects of therapeutic interventions - like how they are impacted by cultural norms, beliefs and expectations. How your worldview affects your approach to health. Or the fundamental differences between mainstream and holistic healthcare.

3. Collective - How the people, situations, and world around you impacts your health.
From this perspective, we can explore topics like the impact of relationships, collective trauma, societal expectations, inequalities of health, and political influences on health. Or the role of science, knowledge, ethics, or reason, and how they impact health issues.

4. Existential - How life, death, and spirituality impact health and wellbeing.
From this deeper perspective, we contemplate topics like the nature of mind and consciousness, non-duality, spiritual experiences, and how to embark on a genuine path of self-realization. We can explore issues like why suffering exists, the meaning of life, the nature of the soul, and how we can use these insights to reduce stress and emotional turmoil.

So, to summarise, we can explore the mind-body connection from whichever path you are currently on, and from the perspective which is most relevant to you right now.
